My name is Sarah Jane Hearfield and I am a Textile Designer and Illustrator.  Originally from Stirling, Scotland, I live in Banbury, Oxfordshire.  I have a Bachelors of Art in Textile Design from Glasgow School of Art, and a Masters of Teaching in Art Education from Wayne State University, Detroit, USA. I currently teach Art at Wood Green School in Witney, as well as working freelance as a graphic designer and illustrator. 

You can find my work online in my Etsy shop where I sell a collection of printed items including cards, tea towels, bags and t-shirts.  I have exhibited at Oxford Artweeks and at Banbury Museum Shop. Every month I have a stall at Deddington Arts and Craft market (last Saturday of the month), and during the summer months I can be found at different art fairs  and markets n the Oxfordshire area.

I am proficient in all aspects of printed textile design, graphic design and illustration.  I have an in-depth knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator and Indesign.  I have designed seasonal prints and repeats for the gift industry, placement prints and characters for gift bags, repeat patterns for wallpaper and fabrics, as well as business logos, layouts and illustrations for books. 

Some of my clients include Dollar Tree, Dollar General, LG Design Group, RM Photography, Alison’s on the Green and Perry Public Schools.  I also sell my designs on several online platforms such as Spoonflower,  Etsy and RedBubble.
